Frequently Asked Questions About Trinity
Baptism
Q. Am I automatically saved if I'm baptized?
A. We believe baptism is a means through which God brings faith
in Jesus Christ to people. We believe this is God's action
alone. While this is a free gift from God, we believe that
individuals can reject the gift and sever their relationship with Jesus
Christ.
Q. Do I need to be baptized again if I become a member of
Trinity Lutheran Church?
A. No. As stated above, we believe that it is God who
brings about faith through baptism. Since it is God who has acted,
there isn't any need to repeat the baptism.
Q. Do you believe in infant baptism?
A. Yes, we believe that this is one of the means of grace
through which God brings faith to all people including infants.
God's action in baptism doesn't depend on people meeting any age or
level of understanding.
Q. When can I or my child be
baptized?
A. For the most part, Baptisms can be scheduled during
any of the worship services held each week. To contact a pastor to
inquire about scheduling

Holy Communion Questions
Q. What do you believe concerning the bread and wine given
during Holy Communion?
A. Holy Communion is celebrated at Trinity in the confession
and glad confidence that, as He says, our Lord gives into our mouths not
only bread and wine but His very body and blood to eat and to drink. Our
Lord invites to His table in Holy Communion, those who trust His words,
repent of all sin, and set aside any refusal to forgive and love as He
forgives and loves.
Q.
I worship at Trinity Lutheran Church, can I participate
in Holy Communion?
A. Worshippers who are not yet instructed in the faith, or are
in doubt, or hold a confession of faith different from this congregation
and the Lutheran Church –Missouri Synod are invited to pray and
meditate on God’s Word during communion distribution. Worshippers are
asked to consult with a pastor prior to the start of worship if there is
a question concerning participation in Holy Communion.

Organization
Q. Is Trinity a part of any larger church organization?
A. Trinity voluntarily chooses to belong to the
Lutheran
Church-Missori Synod.(LCMS) The word “Synod” comes from Greek
words that mean “walking together”. Congregations belonging to LCMS
accept the Bible-based teachings of Martin Luther that inspired the
reformation of the Christian Church in the 16th century. The teaching of
Luther and the reformers can be summarized in three short phrases: Grace
alone, Scripture alone, Faith alone. To learn more about what we
